1. Global Business Innovation & Operations Strategy
- Analyze end-to-end business workflows (e.g., supply chain, influencer collaboration, livestream production, logistics) to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Apply engineering- and data-driven decision-making frameworks to design new processes, tools, and operating models that enhance efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
- Develop and pilot innovation projects (workflow automation, SaaS tools, dashboards, new reporting frameworks), measure impact, and lead roll-outs across teams.
- Build clear documentation, SOPs, and playbooks to standardize best practices for global teams.
2. Localization & Market-Specific Strategy Design
- Conduct in-depth market research on North America and other key regions, including consumer behavior, platform policies, and competitive dynamics.
- Translate global strategies into localized execution plans for different platforms (e.g., TikTok Shop, Amazon, DTC), including pricing, promotion, and content strategies.
- Partner with marketing, operations, and sales to design region-specific campaigns and business experiments; track performance and iterate based on data.
3. International E-commerce Innovation Programs
- Support the design and management of innovation programs focused on new business models, new product launches, and cross-border commerce initiatives.
- Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate pilot projects (e.g., new livestream formats, creator incentive schemes, new product bundles) and recommend scale-up or pivot decisions.
- Build dashboards and KPI frameworks (ROI, conversion rate, AOV, customer acquisition cost, repeat purchase, etc.) to monitor program performance.
- Coordinate with product, tech, operations, and finance to ensure alignment between innovation initiatives and company P&L goals.
4. Cross-Functional Innovation Communication & Global Coordination
- Act as a liaison between headquarters (California) and international teams to ensure knowledge transfer and consistent execution of innovation initiatives.
- Prepare clear presentations, memos, and data reports to communicate recommendations and project outcomes to leadership.
- Organize regular cross-functional reviews to align on priorities, surface learnings, and refine the innovation roadmap.
- Champion a test-and-learn culture, encouraging teams to design measurable experiments and share best practices.
