We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Translator/Interpreter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong linguistic abilities and be proficient in multiple languages, including American Sign Language. This role requires the ability to accurately translate spoken and written communications, ensuring clear and effective communication between parties who speak different languages. The Translator/Interpreter will play a crucial role in facilitating understanding in various settings, including meetings, conferences, and community events.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate translation of spoken and written materials between languages.
Interpret conversations in real-time, ensuring clarity and understanding for all parties involved.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ascertain their needs and preferences.

Requirements

Proficiency in multiple languages; bilingualism is essential, with a preference for candidates fluent in American Sign Language.
Strong background in linguistics or related fields.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to interpret complex concepts accurately and clearly.
Experience in translation or interpretation roles is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism.

Job Type: Contract
