The ANDERSEN Agency is seeking a Gaming Project Manager/ Producer for our Enterprise technology client.
This client is a passionate group responsible for growing a piece of gaming history, and we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager / Producer to partner with our Executive Producer in managing day-to-day production and workflow for various projects within the studio. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, capable of coordinating, tracking, and communicating complex work items across multiple projects, and someone who cares deeply about delivering the best possible gaming experience for the fans.
This role provides the opportunity to work on real-time strategy games and collaborate with teams across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Identifying, communicating, tracking, reporting on, and closing out the individual tasks & work items assigned to you.
- Coordinating across teams to deliver quality on-time, related to features, content, events, testing, localization, product extensions, and user engagement.
- Reviewing and providing informed feedback on development schedules and roadmaps.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to remove blockers and ensure pathways to product development and G2M goals.
- Communicating status and updates on critical work items to key stakeholders regularly.
- Actively unblocking workflows by utilizing existing solutions and/or implementing new tools or processes.
- Providing flexible assistance for other Producers as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in game production.
- A minimum of 2 published games with a Production role credit.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Teams, Microsoft Office, and other project management tools.
- Passion for and understanding of gaming and gaming culture.
- Self-starter with the ability to work flexible hours as your project demands.
- Experience working in a distributed team and comfortable with remote team support.
- Organizational and collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Games-as-a-Service and operating a live product.
- PC technical knowledge & PC gaming experience.
- Scrum Certification as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.
- Familiarity with C#, C++, or other programming languages and basic engineering concepts.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
