Overview:
We are seeking a skilled bilingual paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal administrative tasks, legal research, document review, legal translation/interpreting from English to Spanish and client services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services during legal proceedings, meetings, and conferences
- Translate spoken statements from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning
- Assist with legal research, document review, and case management tasks
- Conduct interviews and file preparation as needed
- Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure effective communication
Experience:
- Proven experience in interpretation and translation
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Strong proficiency in legal research tools
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in translated documents
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Previous experience in legal administrative support is a plus
