- Respond to partner/customer-raised linguistic queries, work with internal language subject matter experts and internal linguists
- Be responsible for advocating for linguistic requirements for LATAM users
- Help our internal teams research customer needs and satisfaction rate of translation
- After intense product training, be the domain authority for the product/language combination
- Maintain the best practice guide for the Localization Excellence Team and disseminate to all internal development teams on a regular basis
- Maintain product translatability, working with all product owners and solution integration teams
- Educate internal development teams on the importance of source language quality and context information
- Provide regular communication internally and externally on language updates
Key requirements
Let’s see what you can achieve when you dare to be yourself. What we’re looking for:
- Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese (native) and English (strong)
- Understanding of translatability best practice in software development
- Experience with CAT tools, TMS platforms, and related technologies
- Familiarity with terminology management tools, glossaries, and translation memories
- Experience working with partners and customers
- Ability to work in a multi-time zone, multi-tasking environment
- Basic knowledge of HTML, xml, xlf, javascript
Additional desired requirements:
- Basic knowledge of AI in localization
- Basic knowledge of or experience with the software development process
- Experience in handling financial and ERP content, with expertise in accounting and Brazilian financial regulations, enabling the translation and localization of complex financial and legal material for a Brazilian audience
- Practical experience with machine translation post-editing (MTPE)
- Academic background in linguistics
- Familiarity with differences between pt-BR and pt-PT
Working within the NetSuite International Product team, you will be part of the global Localization Excellence team, with a manager based in Canada.
Flexibility and some travel will be required. Remote working is possible.

Responsibilities
Works with localization teams to adapt material to meet high linguistic quality and cultural standards. Creates and maintains product specific terminology glossaries and language style guides to ensure consistency and cultural conformity. Some experience using translation, localization, or publication tools such as Trados, RoboHelp, or FrameMaker may be needed.
