Responsibilities
- Provide video remote ASL interpretation services for a wide range of clients and settings and may also provide in person assignments in the Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL area when needed.
- Adhere to professional guidelines and the Codes of Professional Conduct as outlined by RID and SLUSA.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, including physical presentation, during all interpretation sessions.
- Ensure accurate and confidential records of interpretation assignments.
Requirements
- RID Certified in American Sign Language (ASL) is required.
- Experience in interpreting in various settings (e.g., medical, educational, corporate) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey messages accurately.
