Akkodis is seeking a Localization QA for a Contract job with a client in Austin, TX . You will leverage your linguistic and technical expertise to ensure a seamless user experience across multiple UI languages.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Localization QA job responsibilities include:
- Lead the QA process for iCloud localization projects to ensure high-quality user experiences in all supported UI languages.
- Collaborate with vendors, Localization Project Managers, lab operations staff, and language leads to ensure consistent localization across software, marketing, and support materials.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of localized content to meet product requirements and ensure global consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve localization issues by coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Improve existing localization processes and tools to enhance efficiency and the overall quality of localized products.
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing aggressive delivery schedules while maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, Translation, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in localization QA, with a strong focus on iCloud or similar platforms.
- Expertise in testing and validating localized content in multiple languages and familiarity with localization tools.
- Strong knowledge of localization best practices and ability to work with cross-functional teams to improve processes and quality.
