Blazer Jobs is seeking two qualified Sign Language Interpreters for full-time positions for the 20252026 school year. These roles involve providing interpreting services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in educational settings across the district.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation for DHH students in classroom and school activities
Facilitate communication between students, peers, and school staff
Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and IEP teams
Support student access to instruction and participation in all aspects of school life
Qualifications:
Valid Alabama SLI certification
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
Prior school-based experience is strongly preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
