Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation for students and staff.
- Collaborate with educators to facilitate effective munication in the classroom.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development as required.
- Maintain professional standards and ply with all relevant regulations and certifications.
- Support students in their educational and social interactions through interpretation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement.
- Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of educational practices and procedures is an asset.
