This part-time, contract position focuses on vocal output communication (VOCO) and requires a commitment from now until early June, with an option to extend into summer services.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering tailored American Sign Language instruction and VOCO support to a 7th-grade student
- Working approximately 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Following a schedule roughly from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM CST, with potential adjustments if working virtually
- Collaborating with educational staff to meet the student's communication and academic goals
- Participating in extended school year (ESY) services for three additional weeks with a modified schedule
