Job Description:
As a Spanish Independent Contractor/Interpreter, you are responsible for providing accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation to patients, their families and the health care team.
Interpreters must possess and maintain a high level of skill, proficiency and professionalism in interpreting. Due to the sensitive nature of all of the information processed during an interpretation session, a high degree of integrity and confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate fluency in English and Spanish languages
- Effective in time management
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Medical or legal interpreter experience preferred
- Awareness of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
- Completed Immunization or valid work permit
- Reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
