POSITION OVERVIEW:
ILC is seeking an experienced, professional Kinyarwanda Interpreter for remote video interpreting contract assignments. Assignments are available IMMEDIATELY! Certification is helpful, but is not required.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Provide accurate, consecutive interpretation for various settings, including medical, legal, educational, and business environments.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between English- and Kinyarwanda-speaking individuals.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity in all assignments.
- Adhere to industry ethics and best practices to ensure quality interpretation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluency in both Kinyarwanda and English.
- Prior interpreting experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle diverse interactions.
- Ability to work via remote video interpreting.
