Overview
We are a newly established nationwide language service company created by interpreters who decided to join forces with one purpose: to help families and businesses communicate clearly, confidently. We specialize in pre-scheduled Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI), Video Remote Interpreting (VRI), Translation and Remote Bilingual Assistance (RBA).
We are looking for 1 or 2 interpreters who would like to join forces.
We are seeking a skilled Interpreters to facilitate effective communication between individuals who speak different languages or use American Sign Language. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of linguistics and demonstrate exceptional communication skills. This role is crucial in various settings, including healthcare, legal, and educational environments, where clear and accurate interpretation is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate consecutive interpretation services for individuals who are bilingual or multilingual.
- Translate written documents as needed to ensure clear understanding across language barriers.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interpreting sensitive information.
- Collaborate with clients and professionals to ensure that all communication needs are met.
- Adapt interpretation techniques based on the context and audience to enhance understanding.
Skills
- Proficiency in at least 2 languages, with a strong emphasis on both spoken and written translation.
- Strong interpretation skills that allow for seamless communication in various settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to convey messages accurately.
- A solid foundation in linguistics to understand the intricacies of language structure and usage.
