The Production Team at LILT
LILT’s production team focuses on onboarding and localized content delivery for enterprise and mid-market customers, who use our AI technology for their multilingual content requirements. Our team engages with customers from post-sales through steady-state production and is made up of experts in various functional and technical areas of LILT’s overall offering. While we work in various locations, we are highly collaborative within the team and have tight interactions with our colleagues in the LILT Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams. Additionally, we operate as critical members of account-based teams that ensure LILT’s technology is utilized to deliver maximum value to our customers. While we’re at it, we have fun and enjoy the ride together.
Where You’ll Work
This is a contract position based out of India or Romania.
Authorization to work in India, Argentina, or Romania is a precondition of employment.
What You’ll Do
We're looking for an experienced multimedia specialist with a localization background who loves solving hard problems, ensuring work is done on time to keep the customer experience seamless, and interacting with a variety of stakeholders. This position is for someone who has strong technical aptitude, extensive customer-facing experience, and the ability to manage competing priorities from multiple customers at once.
You will be responsible for scoping and processing multimedia content within our platform and partner platforms (e.g. CaptionHub, Articulate), ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
You will work hand in hand with Sales, Production, Operations, and Engineering. You will be responsible for providing the technical expertise to make LILT customers successful.
You will have a broad range of skills and experience, including global multimedia content management lifecycle and a working knowledge of video and audio processing for content pipelines and integrations. You will have the insight to make the connection between a customer’s specific business problems and LILT's solution, the customer-facing skills to communicate that connection and vision to a wide variety of technical and executive audiences, and the technical skills to be able to not only build demos and execute proof-of-concepts but also to provide consultative assistance on architecture and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a localisation subject matter expert during the pre-sales cycle, providing guidance on e-learning content workflows, tools, and formats.
- Scope and plan multimedia localisation projects for e-learning content across multiple languages, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Prepare source e-learning files (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate) for localisation, including extraction of translatable content, audio, and visual assets.
- Reintegrate translated and localised materials, ensuring fully functional, linguistically accurate final e-learning modules.
- Support customer onboarding and implementation, offering workflow guidance for e-learning localisation.
- Manage localisation of video, voiceover, subtitling, and interactive learning assets in line with project requirements.
- Provide best practices for managing localisation-ready content and advise on automation opportunities in e-learning localisation workflows.
- Operate and maintain localisation tools and platforms, supporting both AI-driven and human-led localisation processes.
- Review localised e-learning content, including SCORM packages, for quality, technical accuracy, and adherence to brand and platform standards.
- Perform final QA checks ("final eyes") and prepare final files for delivery to clients or internal stakeholders.
- Act as the go-to expert on e-learning localisation workflows and tools across the organisation.
- Meet SLAs and KPIs for engineering and localisation delivery.
