Latitude Prime is a rapidly growing, nationally renowned Language Services Provider (LSP) delivering comprehensive multilingual solutions to public-sector and enterprise clients, including translation, interpretation, localization, and globalization. We are ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100:2015 certified, and we support 300+ languages through a network of 10,000+ vetted linguists.
We were recently awarded a cooperative contract, creating a significant new growth channel across government, education, and public agencies nationwide. We are seeking an experienced part-time Language Services Sales Professional to drive targeted growth in the Upper Midwest and beyond.
Role Overview
This is a part-time, flexible, consultative sales role (approximately 20-25 hours per week) focused on expanding Latitude Prime’s presence with:
- State & local government agencies
- School districts & higher education
- Public safety & healthcare systems
- Community outreach and compliance-driven organizations
You will sell translation, interpreting, localization, transcription, multilingual DTP, language testing, and on-site linguist services, Section 508 remediation, and more – not generic software.
This role is ideal for someone who already understands:
- How language services are bought
- How RFPs, cooperative contracts, and accessibility compliance work
- How to sell quality, not just price
A great fit for an experienced language-services sales professional seeking a reduced-hours opportunity with meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a focused book of business and sales pipeline on a part-time basis
- Develop public-sector and enterprise accounts in the Midwest and nationally
- Activate and grow business through our cooperative contracts
- Work closely with operations to scope projects accurately
- Build long-term client relationships, not transactional deals
- Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM pipeline management appropriate to a part-time workload
Required Experience
- 2–5+ years of sales experience in the language services industry (translation, interpreting, localization, or accessibility)
- Proven success selling B2B or public-sector language services
- Strong understanding of:
- Translation & interpreting workflows
- Pricing structures
- Compliance-driven environments
- Comfortable selling into government, education, or healthcare
This is not an entry-level role and not a generalist sales position.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling through:
- Cooperative contracts (BuyBoard, Equalis Group, GSA Multiple Award Schedule, NASPO ValuePoint, OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell, TIPS, state cooperative agreements)
- RFP/RFQ environments
Existing relationships in:
- Midwest public agencies
- School districts, healthcare systems, courts, or municipalities
Knowledge of:
- Section 508 / accessibility services
- Multilingual digital content delivery
Compensation & Benefits
- Part-time base compensation + uncapped commission
- Performance-based growth incentives
- Pro-rated benefits and PTO eligibility in accordance with company policy and hours worked
- Long-term advancement potential within a growing national provider
(Exact compensation based on experience, hours, and existing book of business.)
Why This Role Is Unique
- You are selling real, mission-critical services, not software subscriptions
- You have a brand-new cooperative contract as a major sales accelerator
- You are backed by:
- ISO-certified quality systems
- A national linguist network
- Public-sector–ready operations
This is a chance to build and nurture a high-trust, high-retention territory on a part-time schedule.
