Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Market Operations & Localization Coordinator to support our business activities in the Korean and Japanese markets. This position is responsible for coordinating customer communications, supporting order and inventory operations, and ensuring the accurate localization of product and marketing content. The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination skills, a deep understanding of cultural and market differences, and the ability to support cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and brand consistency across international operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational accuracy, timely fulfillment, and culturally aligned communication as we continue to expand in the Asia-Pacific region. Duties:
- Manage and coordinate complex communications with Korean and Japanese clients, distributors, and importers via email, phone, and other platforms, ensuring high-quality service and relationship management.
- Lead the localization of product information, marketing content, and packaging materials into Korean and Japanese, ensuring compliance with local regulations, cultural nuances, and brand standards.
- Oversee and optimize order processing, shipping logistics, and inventory management to ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency across Korean and Japanese markets.
- Analyze customer inquiries, feedback, and market demands to develop actionable insights and recommendations for product adaptation and operational improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, supply chain, and product development teams to support strategic business objectives and international expansion plans.
- Manage projects related to market entry, regulatory compliance, and product launches specific to Korea and Japan.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the Korean and Japanese markets. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Communications, International Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Korean and Japanese (both written and spoken) preferred; English communication skills are a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in managing customer communications, project coordination, or operations, preferably in the beauty, retail, or consumer-facing industries.
- Demonstrated ability to support cross-functional teams and coordinate schedules, materials, and vendor communications to ensure timely and effective execution of customer-facing initiatives.
- Proven skills in analyzing client feedback and market needs to improve processes and enhance service quality.
- Experience in managing product or campaign timelines, handling multilingual content, and ensuring compliance with brand and cultural standards across markets is highly valued.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with inventory coordination, international logistics, and localization best practices in the Korean and Japanese markets is a plus.
