Overview
Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented Localization Producer / Localization Project Manager to join the AMP International Editorial team in Culver City, CA. In this role, you will coordinate high-volume localization projects across marketing and media content—partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support global launches in up to 40 languages.
This is a fast-paced, high-visibility environment requiring strong organization, calm execution under pressure, and a proactive approach to improving workflows, tools, and processes.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of localization project management experience supporting language launches and localization efforts across internet, marketing, and/or media
- Proven ability to manage projects with strong attention to detail in a demanding, dynamic environment
- Experience leading localization initiatives across multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including international teams
- Knowledge of online marketing, international marketing copy, and the global marketplace
- Ability to manage large volumes of copy and assets across up to 40 languages simultaneously
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize urgent issues, and meet aggressive deadlines
- Proactive, forward-thinking planner with excellent organization and an obsession for detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for improving infrastructure, tools, and workflows
- High degree of cultural sensitivity and experience working with global teams
- Working knowledge of industry-standard localization tools
- Linguistic expertise in at least one language preferred
- Comfortable working on Mac, using iOS, and familiarity with Apple Media Products and Apple UI terminology is a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage localization projects from concept through go-live
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing teams, video services, design, legal, localization staff, and external vendors to ensure projects meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards
- Oversee end-to-end localization workflow in a creative environment, including scoping, planning, task tracking, and execution across internal and external teams
- Manage international copy and creative assets for store, marketing, and social campaigns
- Represent the team in marketing meetings and contribute to kickoffs, planning sessions, and project meetings
- Prepare and present project updates and presentations to stakeholders
- Identify and communicate innovative solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision while handling tight timelines and shifting priorities
Education
- Degree in Localization, International Studies, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field
