POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking experienced interpreters to provide in-person support at client sites during HR-related actions: interviews, onboarding, training, and support in warehouse and other environments to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
LANGUAGES: Spanish, Dari, Haitian Creole, Amharic, Arabic, Turkish, French, American Sign Language.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
- Support on-site training sessions for new warehouse employees regarding safety protocols, equipment handling, and warehouse management systems.
- Provide interpretation support between management and staff to facilitate daily operations, performance reviews, and safety briefings.
- Ensure all trainees understand OSHA requirements and warehouse safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English and one of the languages identified above.
- 3-5 years’ experience in interpretation and training, preferably within a distribution center environment.
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills,
- Willingness to work in office and warehouse facilities with unique protocols
PREFERRED REQUIREMENT:
- Professional interpreter certification or similar accreditation is a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Primary work location: warehouses
- Hours will be determined by client schedules, which include shift work.
Pay Range: $60 - $90 an hour
