Position Summary
The Language Lead is responsible for coordinating and executing language-related activities such as asset and tool management, language process and quality management, and terminology management adhering to the defined customer requirements and customer-specific language strategies, as well as internal methodology of language processes.
What You Will Do
· Provide input on client proposals and expectations by leading and coordinating linguistic activities to enable the successful execution of projects and deliveries to improve customer outcomes.
· Carry out RCA of issues on account level, modifying processes, assets, or work practices to drive continuous improvement.
· Oversee creation of the client review instruction templates.
· Coordinate and manage the execution of assigned language tasks.
· Carry out complex source text analysis to assess the linguistic requirements and terminology needs and prepare instructions for internal team members and external translation partners, as required.
· Assess potential linguistic issues and make recommendations on risks, contingencies, and localization strategies on complex projects.
· Manage complex linguistic issues and queries during the project life cycle.
· Develop and implement linguistic assets, such as Translation Memories, glossaries, style guides, and CAT/CAR tool configurations.
· Manage terminology to ensure compliance with subject matter specialization, standards, and customer specific needs.
· Assist in the implementation of work processes and tools to increase efficiency and quality of work.
· Manage customer feedback and complaints and communicate with clients as appropriate.
· Monitor customer quality metrics and contribute to quality plans. • Monitor partner performance and collaborate with partners to provide feedback and define improvement plans.
· Communicate clearly, precisely, and effectively about the assigned tasks with all stakeholders.

· Good knowledge of language technology concepts and tools, e.g., Translation Memories, Computer Assisted Translation, Computer Assisted Revision, Machine Translation.
