The RoleAs the Brand Marketing Director, you will be the primary architect of our brand’s growth in the United States. You will serve as the strategic bridge between our Global Headquarters in China and the US consumer. Your mission is to take our distinct "Flower Knows" aesthetic and translate it into high-impact marketing campaigns that resonate with a US audience, driving brand awareness and loyalty across both digital and retail channels.
Key Responsibilities- Brand Localization & Strategy: Lead the adaptation of global brand campaigns for the US market. You will ensure that our "dreamy" voice remains consistent while speaking directly to the cultural nuances and trends of the American consumer.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with the China-based marketing team and the Global CMO to align on product launches and global initiatives, ensuring seamless execution in the US.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small, agile US-based team, including a social media producer and content creators, to deliver world-class visual storytelling.
- Retail & Omnichannel Marketing : Oversee marketing strategies for our existing US retail channels (E-commerce/DTC/Marketplaces). Partner with retailers to launch exclusive campaigns that drive traffic and elevate the brand’s physical and digital presence.
- Community & Partnerships: Spearhead brand partnerships and community management initiatives that expand our reach into new, diverse audiences within the fashion, lifestyle, and beauty spaces.
- Creative Oversight: Act as the final "aesthetic filter" for US content, ensuring all visual assets—from TikTok clips to EDM—meet the high-art standards of Flower Knows.
- Retail engagement: work closely with retail teams for smooth execution in retail landing and expansion.
Qualifications- Language: Native or professional working proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required for daily collaboration with HQ.
- Experience: 3-5 years of marketing leadership experience. A background in Fashion, Lifestyle, Skincare, or Color Cosmetics is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional storytelling passion and skills with the ability to translate complex brand concepts into engaging consumer-facing content.
- Spirit: A "hands-on" leader who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment and has a genuine passion for aesthetic-driven brands.
- Entrepreneurship: A project owner with a strong 0 to 1 growth mindset.
