Description
Apple's Localisation Engineering Team is seeking a high-energy and detail-oriented Software Quality Manager of Localisation to execute, drive and organise Software and Siri testing across various languages, locales and features, and to play a central role in ensuring the best Software and Siri experience for our worldwide customers.
We are looking for someone with the ambition to manage and grow our automation and test teams in a highly efficient way, and to make sure we get the best possible results in the given time frames.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about software quality, tools, automation, and general management, and be able to optimise across resources, automation, risk and time to deliver the best software testing in the world, on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop localisation test and automation teams.
- Drive end-to-end localisation test strategy across features and platforms.
- Identify risks and gaps, and implement scalable quality solutions.
- Improve automation coverage and testing efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure quality is built into every stage of development.
- Track and communicate quality metrics to inform decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- QA Engineering or Software Engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and Software Engineering processes with a QA mindset.
- In-depth knowledge of Apple’s Software and Siri technologies.
