Summary
Our client, a global leader in consumer technology and digital services, is seeking a Localization QA Specialist to support the production of localized content for a major digital marketplace used by millions of customers worldwide.
In this role, you will help ensure international customers receive a user experience equal to—or better than—that of U.S. customers. You will collaborate with localization project managers, QA specialists, and vendor teams to deliver high-quality localized content across dozens of languages and global regions.Responsibilities
- Produce localized content for global digital marketplace experiences with limited supervision.
- Ensure localized App Store and Games content aligns with brand voice and regional audience expectations.
- Collaborate with localization QA testers and vendors to outline quality expectations and timelines.
- Work with localization project managers and QA teams to ensure projects remain on track and meet quality standards.
- Review and manage linguistic issues across 50+ languages and global territories.
- Manage accurate input of localized data into internal and vendor systems.
- Maintain high standards of linguistic quality, consistency, and cultural relevance.
- Support global content releases by validating localized content prior to production.
Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in at least one language in addition to English.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Localization QA experience required.
- Software QA experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of online production workflows and publishing environments.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors and distributed QA teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong linguistic judgment.
- Experience with workflow automation tools is a plus.
- Media industry experience (apps, music, TV, movies, or digital content platforms) is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent professional experience.Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)
