Akkodis is seeking a
Localization QA IV for a
Contract with a client in
Austin, TX. This role ensures consistently exceptional user experience across all iCloud UI languages through high‑quality localization and linguistic validation.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Localization QA IV Job Responsibilities Include
- Leading localization QA efforts for iCloud features to ensure a consistent, high‑quality user experience across all supported UI languages.
- Collaborating closely with vendors, Localization Project Managers, language leads, and cross‑functional teams to maintain linguistic accuracy and alignment across software, marketing, and support content.
- Localizing top‑priority projects and guiding vendor QA teams by setting expectations, reviewing output, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Identifying linguistic, functional, and contextual issues during QA cycles and driving timely resolutions to support aggressive delivery schedules.
- Managing localization workflows with autonomy in a fast‑paced environment, balancing multiple deadlines while ensuring consistent language quality.
- Contributing to process and tool improvements by identifying inefficiencies, proposing enhancements, and supporting ongoing evolution of localization best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Communications, Localization, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Several years of localization QA or linguistic QA experience, preferably within a fast‑paced software or consumer‑facing product environment.
- Native‑level proficiency in at least one non‑English language with strong English communication skills, plus the ability to evaluate linguistic quality across multiple platforms.
- Proven experience collaborating with vendors and cross‑functional teams, managing localization workflows, and ensuring consistent language quality across software, marketing, and support content.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
