Speech Localization Specialist (m/w/d)
In this role, you play a key part in shaping our speech localization capabilities. You work at the intersection of linguistics and technology, driving improvements in language quality, processes, and tooling, while ensuring that our devices speak and understand all supported languages accurately and naturally.
Being part of the team you will:
· Contribute to both strategic and hands-on localization work
· Partner with the Speech Technology Team to localize content across multiple languages to prepare our products
for international markets
· Support tooling and workflow improvements to adapt to changing technology
· Collaborate closely with the Localization team, Product Managers and other stakeholders to align speech
features with customer needs
· Apply linguistic rules and convert them into machine‑readable formats
· Work with rule‑based language systems and templates
· Research domain-specific terminology and jargon
· Create, review, and maintain linguistic assets
· Drive broader translation and quality improvements
You have:
· A bachelor’s degree in a linguistic discipline
· A strong multilingual background
· Preferably several years of relevant professional experience
· Experience with linguistic concepts, grammars, and language rules
· Ability to work with rule‑based systems, technical formats, and template‑based content
· Experience with localization workflows, language technology, and world‑wide localization systems
· Exposure to Speech technologies or NLP‑related tasks
· Understanding of localization requirements for model training (speech recognition, TTS, LLMs, etc.)
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams
