Localisation Project Manager
Location: Manchester (office-based)
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, permanent, Immediate start

The Voiceover Gallery is a well-established agency with 22 years’ experience representing voiceover talent for UK and international markets, alongside providing a full suite of localisation services including translation, transcreation, and subtitling.
With recording studios in both London and Manchester, we collaborate with voice artists and linguists across the globe. Our team brings expertise from TV production, translation, radio, and talent management, and we work on a diverse range of high-profile projects.
The Role
We are seeking a Localisation Project Manager to join our Manchester-based production team. This is an end-to-end project management role, covering all stages from initial client quoting through to final delivery and invoicing.
This role would be well suited to someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, organised, flexible, and able to adapt, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The role requires a keen interest in the industry, a desire to work with translators and subtitlers, and the ability to manage multiple projects from a client-facing perspective through to vendor management. This is a full-time, office-based role, with the option to work from home one day per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing voice over (human and AI), translation, subtitling, transcription, and video editing projects from initial quote through to delivery and invoicing
- Liaising with voice artists, translators, transcribers, subtitlers, and video editors to ensure smooth project execution
- Negotiating with clients and suppliers to secure optimal rates and timelines
- Performing quality control checks on deliverables to ensure they meet project specifications
- Assisting with studio bookings and related enquiries as required
- Using booking systems, subtitling tools, and Microsoft Office (training provided where necessary)
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers through clear, professional communication
- Managing and prioritising multiple projects simultaneously
Skills and Experience
- BA in a language or translation-related field
- A keen interest in the localisation and voiceover industry
- A Master’s in Audio-Visual Translation would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of subtitling, translation, or voiceover is advantageous
