WHAT’S BREWING IN THIS ROLE…
The Sr. Manager, International Development Services & Market Expansion is a senior leader helping to drive 7 Brew’s international expansion and shaping development strategies across international markets. Specifically, this role supports the overall International Market Expansion planning activities together with New Stand Growth and the cross-functional teams. In addition, they own the overall International Development function expertise, leveraging and closely collaborating with the domestic development teams. Importantly, this leader will work with 7 Brew International leadership and franchise partners around the world to embody the 7 Brew mission of Cultivating Kindness and revolutionize the beverage landscape. The world doesn’t need another coffee shop; it needs something different – 7 Brew.

International Market Expansion Leadership
- Together with International leadership, develops the overall market entry strategy for each new market. In addition, works in tandem with New Stand Growth to support the development and day-to-day management of the comprehensive cross-functional plans for new international market launches.
- Leads development and implementation of the key 7 Brew International brand standards and processes by working cross-functionally with domestic functional partners in development and NSG, as well as cross functional partners in marketing, operations, supply chain and technology. These brand standards processes include things like the NSG Brewprint, Operations Manual, Core Menu Policy, Site Approval Process, Supply Chain/FF&E Localization process, as well as International Specific brand standards and processes, ex: 3PD.
- Build a culture of high performance, collaboration and accountability while modeling 7 Brew’s values of service, hospitality, and kindness in every facet of the business and every market in which we operate. Importantly, this culture should extend to our franchisees and their Brewista teams.
Development Services:
- Partners with the Real Estate teams to ensure we build a pipeline of best in class real estate, are creative in our site layouts and secure timely site approvals.
- Partners with the Equipment team to ensure global equipment supply is sufficiently forecasted and that local equipment solutions are reviewed and approved for quality in time for launch timings.
- Partners with the Design and Construction team to execute new market and stand openings in the most efficient manner by evaluating modular and stick build construction options as well as ensuring that our franchisees and their suppliers are sufficiently trained in the 7 Brew Design & Construction process. In addition, works with the franchisees’ design teams and the 7 Brew design team to work through International specific needs, such as new formats, 3PD operational integration and overall design sophistication.
- Partners with the Retail Technology teams to ensure that all retail technology meets the 7 Brew standards and is installed correctly and timely.
Performance & Reporting
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to ensure on time launches that deliver against our opening sales targets.
- Leverage data and insights to continuously optimize performance and inform decision-making post market opening.
- Manage the NSO pipeline via Sitewise and Sitefolio together with the 7 Brew regional development teams, as well as the local franchisee development teams.
MUST-HAVE INGREDIENTS...
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years in international leadership roles, with significant experience driving market expansion and sales growth.
- Broad-based Development experience to include new market opening planning and execution, detailed understanding of Design & Construction (as well as FF&E) and the interaction with Operations, as well as a general knowledge of the site selection/approval process.
- Proven business success in an International QSR or retail franchise system is required.
- Experience leading complex project management is required.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and scale diverse, international teams with direct and indirect responsibility. Acts with a sense of urgency, and is courageous, decisive, and humble.
- Strategic Thinking & Analytical Skills: Expertise in leveraging data and systems to drive objective decision-making and business performance.
- Cross-Cultural Competence: Strong global mindset with the ability to adapt and thrive in different cultural environments.
- Functional Knowledge and Collaboration: General knowledge of QSR/Retail business with a foundational knowledge of the core business partners’ functions (Marketing, Operations/Training, Technology, Supply Chain and Finance/P&L Management).
- Communication: Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills -, capable of influencing at all levels.
- Flexible & Resourceful: Proven success in building functions from the ground up, operating in ambiguity, and scaling processes, teams, and capabilities in high-growth environments.
Location and Travel Requirements
- Location: Springdale, Arkansas or US Remote (Relocation Assistance Provided)
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally for multiple weeks, as required, to support key market launches, franchise partners, and global brand initiatives. If Remote, must also be willing to travel 1-2x per month to the 7B HQs in Springdale, AR.
