Overview
Legion Creative Group is seeking a highly detail-oriented Print Production Designer / Production Artist. Someone who loves the craft just as much as the creative. This role sits at the center of high-profile entertainment campaigns, bringing key art, outdoor and in-theater artwork to life across a range of formats, often at high volume and high velocity. This position will work in our Burbank office at least 3 days per week.

Come join us!This role is responsible for executing production design (anywhere from simple resizes to more complex, custom outdoor takeovers), building final print and digital mechanical files, and preparing assets for high-quality print output across theatrical, TV, streaming and other entertainment marketing campaigns. This position should be able to juggle many jobs at one time, while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in print production, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will partner closely with the Production Manager, Finishing & Creative teams to ensure all deliverables are accurate, on-brand, and ready for release.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, version, and finalize print-ready mechanical files across multiple campaign assets
- Execute production design for key art adaptations, including resizing, localization, and format variations
- Ensure all files meet print specifications, including bleed, trim, safety, various color profiles, resolution, and file integrity
- Prepare and package final deliverables for various outputs, including OOH, digital print, and large-format applications
- Perform detailed quality control checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and studio guidelines
- Collaborate with Production, Finishing, and Creative teams to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and attention to detail
- Troubleshoot file and technical issues, proactively identifying and resolving production challenges
- Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and version control across all projects
- Assist the Digital Asset Manager with critical asset management duties during periods of high volume or when business needs require, to ensure continuous operation and security of digital asset
- Strictly adhere to TPN security protocols and best practices during the download, upload, transfer, and storage of client files, maintaining chain of custody and confidentiality
- Support the intake and organization of digital media assets (video, stills, audio, creative files) from external clients and internal teams, ensuring they are accurately cataloged
- Facilitate the secure and efficient delivery of assets to clients, vendors, and partners, ensuring file specifications and metadata requirements are met.
- Assist in maintaining the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure assets are easily searchable and accessible
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2 - 5 years of experience in a Production Artist or print production role, preferably within an entertainment or creative agency
- Strong understanding of print production processes, mechanical build standards, and file preparation
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience working with large-format print, OOH, and high-resolution production files
- Strong knowledge of typography, layout, and production best practices
- Ability to follow creative direction while executing with precision and consistency
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control mindset
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of various digital media file containers and metadata standards for print, video, and audio assets (e.g., .mov, mp4, psd, jpg, xmp)
- Working knowledge of security protocols and chain of custody best practices for client digital assets (e.g., TPN/MPA)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting print production for theatrical, television, or streaming marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with production and finishing workflows, retouching, and color management
- Experience with localization and versioning workflows
- Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems (e.g., Iconik, Frame.io, Adobe Bridge, Photo Supreme) or similar media management software
- Familiarity with server environments, NAS, Cloud-NAS and file transfer protocols
- A background in photo, video, and/or audio editing is a plus
