Overview
We are seeking a skilled Interpreter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in multiple languages and possess exceptional communication skills to facilitate effective language translation and interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and clear interpretation services between individuals who speak different languages.
- Translate spoken communication from one language to another in various settings.
- Interpret American Sign Language (ASL) for individuals with hearing impairments.
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and understanding during all interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality while interpreting.
Requirements
- Proficiency in linguistics with the ability to fluently communicate in multiple languages.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interpret accurately and efficiently.
- Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus.
- Previous experience in interpretation or translation is preferred.
