Your impact

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Localization Manager to drive our global translation efforts across 26 languages. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our medical content, application UI, and marketing materials are accurately localized while maintaining the highest quality standards.

You will own the localization process end-to-end, optimize workflows, manage a distributed team of translators, and leverage automation and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency. Success in this role means that translations are high-quality, timely, scalable, and aligned with medical knowledge.

Role requirements:

Proven experience in localization project management, preferably in software or healthcare
Strong expertise with localization tools (e.g. Crowdin, Phrase, Lokalise)
Experience managing distributed teams of translators and localization agencies
Strong attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset
Exceptional communication and writing skills in English
Ability to work with API-driven translation workflows and automation tools

Nice to have

Experience with process automation and AI-powered localization
Prior people management experience
Additional language proficiency beyond English
Medical translation experience or familiarity with healthcare content

Responsibilities

Lead and optimize localization operations across 26 languages, ensuring high accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
Manage a team of 40+ external translators and one full-time Language Specialist (hiring, onboarding, performance review)
Define workflows, best practices, and localization guidelines to ensure quality and predictability
Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and healthcare-related localization best practices
Implement and oversee automation tools to streamline translation workflows and reduce manual effort
Balance translation speed and quality, ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining linguistic, cultural and medical accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (medical, marketing, product, customer success) to align localization priorities
Analyze and improve translation accuracy, using data-driven insights to refine processes
