We are urgently seeking a Native English-speaking LQA Specialist with game localization expertise to quality-check Korean-to-English translations for in-game content (UI, dialogues, quests, item descriptions). Ensure linguistic precision, gameplay clarity, and cultural adaptation for Western gaming audiences.

Responsibilities

Perform linguistic QA on Korean to English localized game assets (text strings, voice-over scripts, patch notes).
Flag and categorize critical issues: mistranslations, placeholder errors, lore inconsistencies, tone mismatches.
Verify compliance with game-specific terminology bibles, character limits, and platform requirements (console/PC/mobile).
Test in-game text implementation for truncation, formatting, and UI display issues.
Collaborate with narrative designers and developers to preserve creative intent.
Identify cultural sensitivities in dialogues/storylines for target regions (NA/EU/ANZ).

Requirements

Native English fluency + professional Korean reading/writing proficiency.
2+ years of game LQA experience (Korean to English localization mandatory).
Deep knowledge of gaming terminology across genres (RPGs, MMOs, F2P mobile)
Hands-on experience with Game localization tools and Bug-tracking systems (JIRA, TestRail, Hansoft or similar)
