About

I studied the Translation and Interpreting Degree in Murcia's University and after finishing it I moved to the North of France to work as Spanish language assistant in three high schools. Just after this experience I worked a few months as Legal Interpreter from French and English into Spanish and viceversa in Murcia's Court. The judicial field became more interesting for me thank to this job and because of that I studied a Master’s Degree in Institutional Translation in Alicante's University. After this master, I started working as Translation Project Manager in SeproTec Multilingual Solutions where I've been working for more than three years, until past March, when I had to quit because I moved, and I am looking for new professional challenges. In the company I was on the intellectual property team where I usually took care of the management of patents projects, although, I also managed law courts projects. During these years, I coordinated IP translation projects since the email request from the client until the delivery of the translation, taking also care of the feedback from all the involved providers as well as from the clients. Also, during the last year at the company, I combine my PM work with a Master's Degree in Audiovisual Translation from ISTRAD in Sevilla. I became subtitler specialist and before finishing my masters I did an internship as part of the ISTRAD subtitling team in collaboration with the FCAT Festival in Tarifa. I am willing to explore this area of translation and would love to perform a job where I could combine my Translation Project Manager experience and my subtitling skills.
