As a dedicated medical interpreter in health records and information management. I have acquired skills and
knowledge in both medical terminology and information technology. I have a combination of medical
knowledge, IT proficiency and integration of both perspectives in order to provide effective health care
services to patient's. As an individual who bridges the gap between a patient's native language and the
healthcare provider's language, I help ensure that communication is as accurate as possible. By acting as a
bridge between two languages, I facilitate communication between healthcare provider's and patient's, which
can ultimately lead to improved health outcomes. I possess a working knowledge of health records and
information management systems. This includes understanding the different types of data available and how
it is stored, accessed, and utilized in the health care environment. I am familiar with the latest technology
and trends in health information management and be able to recommend ways to improve the flow of
information throughout a health care system. I possess a combination of strong medical, language, and
technical skills. I am able to quickly and accurately interpret verbal and written information from medical
staff to accurately convey it to patient's in their native language. I am knowledgeable on healthcare laws and
regulations and be able to keep detailed records of patient care and treatment. I effectively communicate
with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and native languages in this position. I have excellent
verbal and written communication skills and comfortable interacting with people from various cultural
backgrounds. I am able to connect with people. I also have a strong understanding of medical and health
information technology, including ability to quickly and accurately enter and manage patient information
into various types of medical databases.
