Seeking a position as a Japanese and English Medical Translator. Motivated to leverage my extensive career background as an English and Japanese bilingual linguist/ educator over 20 years and my professional experience and knowledge as a medical interpreter. My translation works include a diverse range of projects, including legal documents (e.g., service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, MOUs), technical manuals/ product specifications, research papers, e-learning materials, business correspondences, product presentations, corporate website content/ announcements, marketing materials, all translated between English and Japanese, with a focus on accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and maintaining the original tone and style. My strengths are attention to detail and project management skills; I strive to complete tasks with accuracy in any assignments given, while efficiently handling the translation of massive volumes of content. As a professional translator, I have gained extensive knowledge and skills of the CAT tool (Phrase) and machine translation (DeepL) to further enhance the speed, productivity, accuracy, and consistency of my translation work in this fast-paced business world.
