About
I’m a people-first Localization Project Manager and writer who thrives at the intersection of language, organization, and calm execution. I help teams deliver complex multilingual projects on time, without compromising quality, tone, or empathy.
At Global Language Strategies, I oversaw end-to-end translation and localization projects, served as liaison to Trados/RWS, and contributed to their LSP Advisory Board. I built structure; developing SOPs, training materials, and workflow systems that align human and technical priorities. My approach combined precision with people-centered leadership: listening first, anticipating needs, and guiding teams through stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and budget tracking.
Previously, as Director of Marketing and Development at St. Mary Catholic School, I co-authored a $100,000 grant proposal that won funding from the Marion I. & Henry J. Knott Foundation. I synthesized existing content, incorporated leadership input, and contributed original writing, creating a seamless, unified voice that impressed the Principal.
Earlier, as Administrative Coordinator for the Thurmont Police Department, I honed my writing cohesion and compliance skills through policy development aligned with other agencies and CALEA standards.
As a German-to-English translator and lifelong language learner, I’ve built a career around crafting messages that inspire, refining content for clarity, and ensuring every translation honors the original voice.
I bring dedication, composure, and respect for people and language to every project. Whether leading teams, writing copy, or supporting clients, I believe tone and trust are just as essential as timelines.
