I have strong skills in translation, language teaching, and material development. I am proficient in technical-scientific, literary, and audiovisual translation, ensuring accuracy and clarity. I work with CAT tools like Wordfast, MemoQ, and Trados, and use Subtitle Edit and Aegisub for subtitling. Additionally, I am experienced with Microsoft Office and Google tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.) for translation and editing. As a teacher, I create engaging lessons, adapt materials for different learners, and effectively manage both in-person and online classes. I am organized, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
About
I am an English-Spanish translator and English teacher with experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults. I am currently completing my degree in Technical-Scientific and Literary Translation in English at Higher Institute "Lenguas Vivas." I hold a C1-level English certificate from EF International Language Centres and a diploma in Audiovisual Translation from the National Technological University.
I have worked as an English teacher at several institutions, including San José Secondary School, Saint John’s School, The Red Apple School, and the Argentine British Cultural Association. I also teach online classes to adult learners through We English. My responsibilities have included lesson planning, material development, and conducting engaging language classes.
In addition to my teaching experience, I participated in the Green Chemistry Terminology Project at Facultad de Lenguas, UNC, in collaboration with WIPO in 2018. I am also certified in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I am passionate about language education and aim to contribute to effective learning while continuing my professional development in translation and teaching.
