I'm a freelance German and English translator specializing in (but not limited to) audiovisual, literary, political, and economics texts. My lifelong attempts to learn about every topic under the sun have inspired me to work in this profession, in which going down obsessive rabbit holes is something of a virtue!
I'm committed to using my linguistic abilities to facilitate clear and accurate communication devoid of the subhuman, sterile characteristics of AI-generated texts. I'm excited to help clients bridge intercultural gaps through high-quality writing, knowledge of cultural differences, and meticulous attention to detail. Above all, my mission is to use my skills and interests to bring information, art, and culture to new audiences.
Born and raised in the United States, I prefer to write in American English, but I also have a wealth of experience working with British English.
