I am a multilingual communication specialist with an M.A. in Translation Studies and Cultural Mediation, which included a DAAD-funded year abroad. With over 4 years of experience as assistant in academic administration, I have supported international students and assisted in facilitating collaborations with other universities in Chile and Spain. I participated in translation projects for academic institutions and lead a team to translate reports of Latin American branches for an NGO, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance. My working experience also includes teaching tutorials at academic institutions, among them the University of Oxford. I am fluent in German, Spanish, and English, and I am especially passionate about bridging cultural and linguistic divides in international settings. I am inspired by scholars working in the field of migration studies and sociolinguistics, since I believe that borders as a political space of constant encounter, tension and conflict require language mediators to help reach a mutual understanding and ensure human rights.
