About
I'm an EN<>ES Technical and Scientific Translator recently graduated from the IES en Lenguas Vivas "Juan Ramón Fernández", a prestigious higher education institution based in Argentina specializing in modern languages.
I have been working as an English teacher since 2023. I worked at an English institute and, now, I am working at a bilingual school with Elementary 4 students. My experience in education has helped me develop a good set of transferrable skills, such as time management, strategic planning, group leadership, etc. I am constantly learning not only from other teachers, but also from my students and the new ideas they bring into the classroom.
I have had the opportunity to participate in a Work & Travel experience, a cultural exchange program that gave me the chance to work for almost four months in the United States. I worked in one of the restaurants inside the Grand Hyatt Vail hotel in Colorado. During this period of time I managed to communicate effectively with both native speakers and foreign English speakers and learned a lot more about the American culture from within. I have also honed my problem-solving (especially under pressure) skills and my intercultural understanding, as I worked in a multicultural team with people from all around the world.
I am a curious being who loves learning new things and that is the reason why I am currently looking for new opportunities in order to launch my professional career in Translation.
