Lara Sofia Júlio Paiva is a multilingual professional with solid experience in interpreting and translation, especially in medical, legal and corporate contexts. She currently works as an Over-the-Phone Interpreter at Cyracom, where she also acts as an interim supervisor, supporting performance analysis and process improvement.
Previously, she worked at LanguageLine Solutions, providing consecutive interpreting services in English and Portuguese in a variety of environments, such as health, finance and education. She also has experience in written translation and document editing (DTP), including scientific articles, websites and certificates, with mastery of tools such as Adobe, Word, Canva and translation softwares (CAT tools).
She also has experience in the airline industry, having worked as a bilingual agent for Air Canada and Avianca Airlines, where she applied her language skills in interactions with passengers and authorities.
She is fluent in Portuguese and English, with a good knowledge of Spanish and French. He is currently studying for a degree in Languages - English and Portuguese at the SENAC University Center and is due to graduate in June 2026.
