About
I am writing this cover letter to express my certain desire to apply for the post of Interpreter at your esteemed institution. This stems from my fixed belief that my translation and interpreting services that I have kept providing during the last twelve years will finally be put to good use in such a tremendous body as yours. I possess fourteen years of experience in translation & interpreting and related language services; including but not limited to sight translation, consecutive interpreting, and simultaneous interpreting in the language pair of English and Arabic.
I am a holder of a PhD's degree in specialized translation. I am a member of the Egyptian Translators & Linguists Association (ETLA), accredited by Interprefy, KUDO, ABLIO, AKKADU, RAFIKY, and Verspeak, not to mention further online platforms. My pride extends to being a provider of linguistic services to international conferences and events whether onsite or online, the most recent of which is my honorable participation as an interpreter with the United Kingdom Government (UK Gov) United Nations Climate Change Convention (UNFCCC), International organization for Migration (IOM), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) as well as further international organizations.
I am not strange to specialized fields as well because of my never-ceasing assignment as a conference interpreter in specialized events, meetings, conferences, seminars, and webinars. This specialized experience ranges from medical and pharmaceutical fields to international relations and political gatherings.
Moreover, due to my experience in remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI), my pride extends to providing RSI in dozens of events all over the world, as I am well-equipped with a professional workstation and sophisticated technical capabilities.
I see myself fit to the post of interpreter at your esteemed company, which will make me finally fulfill my goal of putting my skills in good use with the right place.
