About
I am a freelance translator and editor specialized in books, comics and video games.
I work in this field since 2011, translating texts from English, French and Spanish into Italian, and I have a PhD in Comparative Literatures (2013-2017) and a master’s degree in Screen translation (subtitling, dubbing, localization, 2017-2019).
After working two years in a publishing house as a translator and editor (2017-2019),
I had a short experience as a localization tester at EA in Madrid (2019). These in-house experiences were key to enhancing my teamwork skills and developing a deeper understanding of the process needed to bring books and video games to life, from draft to publication.
I have worked as a full-time freelance translator since 2019, collaborating with several publishing houses and localization agencies. I have translated over 80 books and contributed to the localization of about 40 video games so far, ranging from adventure RPGs to sports, simulators and narrative games. I am eclectic, and I like dealing with different genres; you can have a look at my CV for more details.
