About
I am a technical-scientific translator. I was born in Argentina. Spanish is my mother-tongue. I have experience working as a freelancer and in companies owned by Argentinean and American shareholders.
As a freelancer, I have been running my own business as an English-Spanish translator, editor and proofreader of general, scientific, technical and business texts and as an editor of several specialized scientific and technical newsletters and house organs since 1995. I have worked extensively for multinational companies, agencies and private clients in a wide variety of topics.
I was a managing partner at OCCHI-DOCTA S. A. from 2014 to 2017, a modern design furniture company where I took part on selling, customer service, commercial relationship development and social media branding activities.
I worked in Ukraine as commercial representative since 2002 to 2005 for Molinos Rio de la Plata, an Argentinean shareholder company. I performed market research tasks and analyses, looked for commercial opportunities, analyzed distribution channels, marketing actions, branding and patents, developed relationships with local partners, the Argentinean embassy, public institutions, and recruited professionals.
I worked as Public Relations Officer since 1997 to 1999 at EDEN, EDES & EDELAP, subsidiaries of AES Corporation and PSE&G Corporation, in Bs. As., Argentina. I created the Public Relations Division and I was responsible for the Corporate Image and Branding. During that time, I developed company strategic messages, communicated extensively with media organizations, organized news conferences, produced press releases, press clippings and press kits. I dealt with crisis management, branding and publicity campaigns, successful marketing programs and advertising campaigns. I also coordinated client and community relations, internal communication, and organized employees’ training courses.
