I am Patricia Torreblanca Burgos, an English and French into Spanish translator specialized in the editorial field.
Between my aptitudes stands out my organization, since I link what is requested to ensure favourable outcomes. Furthermore, I have perfect teamwork skills given that we always consider all suggestions proposed, and we democratically decide as a group the decisions we have to take. As for my personal interests, I distinguish contemporary literature, beauty, cosmetics, and video games.
In 2024, I graduated with two honours (318 Traducción General (II) FR-ES and 401 Edición y revisión de textos) at Translation and Interpreting Degree (EN/FR>ES) at Málaga University with a mark of 8.17 and I focused my Final Project on a Spanish translation proposal (3.177 words) of English YA mystery novel’s second chapter A Place for Vanishing by Ann Fraistat. Also, in 2025 I finished the Translation at the World of Publishing Master's Degree with a mark of 8.88 and I focused my Final Project on a Spanish translation proposal (10.088 words) of English YA love novel’s first seven chapters Stay with My Heart by Tashie Bhuiyan. Concerning my professional experience, I was an intern at Keep Learning language centre for my University Degree. In four months I recorded five videos of one hour about C1 English level and each one included grammar, vocabulary, and 62 exercises of reading, listening, and writing. Besides, I was an intern at Libros de Seda publisher for my Master's Degree. In two months I translated into Spanish the first chapter of the English sentimental novel The Late Miss Hollingford written by Rosa Mulholland followed by a book report. In addition, I have four years of experience in beauty and cosmetic fields as an influencer in social media like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube and I had the opportunity to collaborate in 30 campaigns with well-known brands as Garnier, Adidas, or Sephora.
