About

I am a creative perfectionist that is extremely passionate about the English language. I have experience as an English Editor in the localization industry where I transcribed, edited and performed quality assurance on English subtitles, and improved the standard of translated content for an English audience. I was taught to work quickly and accurately in this environment, a skill that I possess to this day. My interest in language drove me to pursue my Honour's degree in Linguistics as well as my Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, where I majored in English and Theory of Literature. One of my modules involved German to English technical translation which is a skill I would love to sharpen. My studies helped me gain strong research skills and polish my writing, editing and proofreading. I am currently completing my Master's degree in Linguistics and I enjoy learning other languages in my spare time.
