About
Being a multi-passionate person since birth has made it challenging to figure out the answer to the age-old question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” For the longest time, my answer was always a veterinarian until career day one year in middle school. Let’s just say I found out I was far too squeamish for that career path.
After that, I was a little lost on what the answer was for me. In high school, I tried out Horticulture, multimedia, and interior design, and it was during this time that I began studying the Spanish language. Something about it just stuck with me, and from then on, I wanted to have languages and cultures as a part of my work.
An additional part of my high school career was my time at Summit Technology Academy as a member of their International Studies program, and as a result, I was a member of their Global Prep Squad during my senior year. This class taught me project management skills as we worked with other classrooms and clients like Habitat for Humanity and IBM, where I learned to strengthen my skills alongside my teammates. This further instilled my love for languages and cultures into college, where I decided to pursue a degree that focused on Spanish Translation and receive a minor in Japanese at the end of my college career.
Along with realizing what I wanted in a career, I developed a lot of hobbies and interests. They include hobbies like gardening, video games, cooking, baking, taking care of animals, photography, writing, reading, and studying foreign languages. Some of my favorite video games include Hades, Persona 5, and Garden Story. Additionally, as of right now, I have thirteen houseplants in my house, which not only add color and life to my space but also provide a lot of health benefits. I am interested in researching different health topics, efforts being made by non-profit groups to help various groups such as refugees, and supporting small businesses and farmers' markets.
As a lifelong Missourian, I would heavily enjoy the opportunity to relocate to the West Coast to gain new experiences. I am seeking an entry-level position in localization, project management, translation, the game industry, administrative work, and more. Please feel free to reach out and contact me.
