Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Translator/Interpreter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of multiple languages and demonstrate exceptional communication skills. This role involves translating written documents and interpreting spoken language in various settings, ensuring clear and accurate communication between parties. Duties

Translate written materials from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning, tone, and context.
Interpret spoken language during meetings, conferences, or events, facilitating effective communication between participants.
Provide bilingual support in various settings, including legal, medical, educational, and community services.
Collaborate with other professionals to ensure accurate understanding of context and terminology.
Utilize knowledge of linguistics to enhance translation and interpretation accuracy.
Stay updated on industry-specific terminology and cultural nuances relevant to the languages being used.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times while handling sensitive information.

Requirements

Proficiency in multiple languages; bilingualism is essential.
Strong understanding of linguistics principles and translation techniques.
Experience in interpreting American Sign Language is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to interpret complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in translation.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in diverse environments.
Previous experience in translation or interpretation roles is preferred but not mandatory.
