Job Title: Localization Project Manager (LPM)
Job Overview
This role involves producing E-commerce localized content with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should have experience in localization and project management. The Localization Project Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with vendors, ensuring localization projects are on track, relevant to the target audience, and represent the company’s voice in various markets. The role includes managing the input of localized data into multiple internal and vendor systems while ensuring accuracy. Attention to detail and the ability to manage linguistic issues for a wide range of languages and regions are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality localized content for E-commerce platforms in multiple languages.
- Collaborate closely with vendors to define project expectations and monitor progress.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure localization projects meet deadlines and align with target market needs.
- Ensure that localized content is accurate and consistent across various systems.
- Oversee the localization process for multiple languages, maintaining high standards of linguistic accuracy.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex situations and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Competencies And Skills
- Strong understanding of online production processes and a passion for meeting international customers' needs.
- Experience in the international E-commerce marketplace is highly desirable, especially in relation to apps, TV, or movies.
- Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate projects across various departments, including vendors and legal teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with flexibility and excellent task prioritization skills.
- Strong judgment in complex situations, ensuring smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- BA degree or equivalent.
- Proficiency in a language other than English, with excellent communication skills in English.
- Project management experience, preferably in localization production.
- Familiarity with workflow automation methods is a plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, along with presentation skills.
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Localization QA experience.
