Job SummaryThe Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), under the supervision of the Director of Special Education and a credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), follows and implements specialized speech and language instruction and services for students who have disorders of language and speech which includes hearing, voice, pragmatics/social communication, expressive/receptive language and fluency, as directed by the credentialed SLP; assists in screenings without interpretation; consults and collaborates with teachers and parents regarding strategies which enable access to and progress in the general education curriculum. This position will support and uphold the mission and vision of The Classical Academies.
