Department Summary: The Clinical team oversees all our service delivery areas that require a mental health and clinical lens, which includes Compliance and Localization strategy. The Compliance and Localization team oversees the impact on platform operations that stem from Crisis Text Line’s agreements with accrediting bodies, partners, and state-based organizations and ensures we maintain compliance with all requirements. The Clinical team ensures that Crisis Text Line is a leader in defining quality service delivery of crisis support via text.Role:
Crisis Text Line offers mental health support in both Spanish and English. In order to provide the service in both languages, our bilingual staff are responsible to provide both Spanish and English support, based on business needs, thus time spent on both services will vary. These bilingual roles require mental flexibility and the ability to easily oscillate between both languages fluidly.
The Bilingual Resource Localization Coordinator supports the Compliance and Localization Manager’s initiatives to improve the quality and service delivery of our multilingual service as they pertain to resources and localization strategy. The Bilingual Resource Localization Coordinator will create, edit, and maintain bilingual resource content, including meeting contract-based and network agreement based requirements. This role is also responsible for cross-functional, collaborative projects and research into community navigation and resource localization best practices. Responsibilities:

Administration and Program Development
- Manage the Platform Clinical Resource databases in both English and Spanish, including regular auditing and maintenance of existing resources
- Routinely vet resource suggestions provided by staff, partners, and volunteers according to organizational criteria
- Create new, proprietary, Crisis Text Line resources to provide to texters and collaborate with relevant teams (e.g. Marketing and Communications) to ensure their success
- Write clear volunteer and texter descriptions, assign taxonomy, and publish newly approved English and Spanish resources in the Platform Resource database
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute Platform Release Notes as needed (release notes typically come from cross-functional teams)
- Communicate with conversation-takers/responders, existing and potential partners, and staff in public (Platform and Community) and private forums (email)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all appropriate teams to ensure Crisis Text Line’s website resource pages remain up-to-date
- Build relationships and communicate with cross-functional teams and affiliates to coordinate and align on all clinical resources
- Research and develop processes for localizing resources to the state and county level
- Appropriately audit and maintain documentation for all work and participate in accreditation renewal processes as needed
- Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
Serve as Subject-Matter Expert
- Become well-versed in crises that arise with conversation-takers and texters, and respond appropriately with resources
- Identify gaps in the resources we offer and seek out opportunities to fill those gaps with quality resources
- Work collaboratively with teams across the organization to ensure resources on the Platform and website are up-to-date with best practices
- Educate conversation-takers on effective resource use as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of community mental health or equivalent experience beyond volunteerism
- Intermediate knowledge of database management and community navigation
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in partnership and relationship management
- Bilingual or full professional fluency in verbal and written Spanish and English
- Demonstrates commitment to equity and inclusion
- Advanced G-suite, computer, internet, & technical skills
- Experience in and flexibility with working across time zones
Reliable High-Speed Internet Required: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection to support seamless remote collaboration, virtual meetings, online job tasks, etc.
The full salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $54,516 - $62,788 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience; during the interview process, candidates will learn the starting salary range applicable for their location. We pay competitively in the tech-forward nonprofit space and offer a robust benefits package.
