Job Title: Project Coordinator II (Localization Project Manager)

Job Description:
The world’s largest social media company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating localization projects from translation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive localization schedules, encompassing translation, QA, and launch phases, while maintaining open communication with key stakeholders, including Localization Program Managers, Language Managers, Engineers, QA, Vendors, and Content Designers.
- Effectively communicate project expectations, timelines, and test results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units, ensuring clear instructions and timely updates.
- Create and execute basic test plans for linguists, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements as needed.
- Analyze existing workflows and tools, providing recommendations for optimization and piloting the implementation of new processes to drive efficiency and quality.
- Work independently, making informed decisions under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet aggressive deadlines in an ambiguous environment.
- Triage, prioritize, and escalate internationalization bugs, collaborating with product teams to ensure fixes are implemented before launch.
Skills:
- Proven experience in Project Management, Localization, and QA with a track record of successfully launching products in multiple locales.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of task prioritization, problem-solving, and working towards solutions.
- Solid knowledge of common challenges associated with developing products for international markets.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with localization platforms, file formats and CAT tools or similar in-house tools and platforms that manage and/or automate the translation workflow.
- Familiarity with product and software development processes.
- Relevant experience in software localization, localization program management or management of localization technology solutions.
- Experience in hardware, augmented reality, virtual reality, advertising, or payments testing.
